The REMS TA Center offers a variety of Trainings by Request for delivery on-site at your school, school district, or institution of higher education. For each training, we will provide—free of charge—training materials, as well as one or more expert trainers and TA Center staff support for the event hosted at your site.

Developing Emergency Operations Plans (EOPs) IHE 101

Duration: 30 to 45 min.

Objective: A high-quality higher ed EOP is adequate, feasible, acceptable, complete, and compliant with state and local requirements. To ensure that EOPs meet these criteria, institution of higher education (IHE) planning teams must work collaboratively to determine EOP goals and objectives. That is why the planning process is so important. Although processes should be adapted based on the unique characteristics of the IHE and situation, teams can use this course to learn about all aspects of plan development, assessment, review, implementation, and maintenance.
