Perspectives from the Field
The U.S. Department of Education's Office of Safe and Healthy Students (OSHS) sponsors and coordinates a number of closed list serves to promote communication, collaboration, and the sharing of ideas, information, and resources for school and higher education emergency management. Though the list serves are only open to grantees and other identified partner groups, the information shared via these list serves often has broad applicability to the wider emergency management field. Accordingly, the REMS TA Center has redacted the responses received to some key list serve discussion and these summaries are available here for reference purposes by the general education community.
